Transgender State Icon Rajesh Files SIR Enumeration Form, Urges Citizens to Value Every Vote

SAS Nagar, July 25: As part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR-2026) drive being conducted under the guidelines of the Election Commission of India, the District SVEEP Team is actively assisting eligible voters from all sections of society in completing and submitting their SIR Enumeration Forms. The initiative is being carried out under the leadership of District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Ms. Komal Mittal with the aim of ensuring that every eligible voter is included in the electoral process.

In continuation of the campaign, Transgender State Icon Rajesh submitted the SIR Enumeration Form with assistance from the District SVEEP Team. The process was conducted under the guidance of Pro. Gurbakhshish Singh Antal and with the support of Election Tehsildar Harpreet Kaur.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajesh highlighted the importance of electoral participation by sharing the message, “Every Vote Matters.” Rajesh encouraged members of the transgender community, persons with disabilities, women, young voters, senior citizens and all other eligible citizens to complete their SIR Enumeration Forms and play an active role in strengthening democratic values. Rajesh emphasized that an inclusive democracy depends on the participation of every eligible voter and that each vote carries equal significance.

The District SVEEP Team stated that the primary objective of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR-2026) is to make the electoral roll more accurate, transparent and inclusive by ensuring that no eligible voter is left out. The campaign continues to reach diverse sections of society while providing assistance in the submission of Enumeration Forms.

Among those present during the programme were Election Kanungo Surinder Batra, Programmer Jatinder Singh and Manpreet Singh Sidhu from the Election Office.
