CM Launches ₹31 Crore Development Projects in Nalagarh


Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated and laid foundation stones for various development projects worth ₹31 crore in Nalagarh Assembly Constituency, Solan district. Key initiatives included a ₹7.24 crore drinking water scheme for Mittian, Behli, Khaller, and nearby villages, seven tube wells worth ₹5.22 crore, and water supply improvements costing ₹4.82 crore. Additionally, he initiated three bridge projects: Kotla Kalan Bridge (₹5.77 crore), Retar Khad Bridge (₹4.44 crore), and Bhatauli Khad Bridge (₹3.51 crore).
The Chief Minister assured the public of his government’s commitment to Nalagarh’s development, emphasizing that financial constraints would not hinder progress. He highlighted the administration’s focus on equitable growth across Himachal Pradesh to ensure citizens’ welfare.
During the event, Sh. Sukhu flagged off two ambulances donated to the District Red Cross Society, acknowledging and honoring the donors for their contributions.
Nalagarh MLA Hardeep Bawa thanked the Chief Minister for prioritizing Nalagarh, emphasizing his dedication to the region’s progress. Health Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil and other dignitaries were present to support the occasion.
